, previously fined $4m for fraud, sold Business Insider this week to German publisher Axel Springer.
Axel Springer have previously failed to buy Financial Times and UK's Telegraph Media Group. The move is to aid the company's expansion into English-language digital journalism and grow outside of Germany according to CEO.
Business Insider is valued at $442m (£291.5m), almost twice as much as Amazon founder Jeff Bezos paid for the Washington Post.
